Happy December first! This is my absolute favorite time of year with the holidays coming around and the festive music, shopping, and food. I personally love buying gifts for all of my family and friends, so I decided to do a little gift guide for you guys to see what I have on my own list and what I'm planning to buy others. I split it into two sections, so today is the beauty guide, with the next part coming in a week. I hope this helps you guys or gives you some ideas as you shop!
Origins Gift Sets Kit / Caudalie Beauty Product / Tom Ford Lips / NARS Cosmetics / Benefit Cosmetic / Sephora Favorites Fragrance Rollerball Sampler For Her / CIATE Caviar Manicure Luxe Set / Lush
Caudalie Beauty Elixr: One of two skincare items in my gift guide, the Caudalie Beauty Elixr is a perfect gift. On the more expensive side for a spray, it can be hard to fork out the money as it can run out pretty quickly. However, that makes it a perfect gift for someone who is into makeup and skincare. I know I would love this as a gift and think many other people would.
Ciate Caviar Luxe Manicure Set: The newest manicure kit by Ciate is the Caviar Luxe set. A gorgeous rose gold shade of beads which would look great with a rose gold watch on the wrist, this color was specially chosen for the holiday season. I think that the color is so much better than the original bead colors and the Ciate kits are always just so much fun to spend time on. Anyone who is into nails would go crazy receiving this for a present; I know I would!
Tom Ford 'Bruised Plum' Lipstick: Honestly, I couldn't help but sneak this in. On the pricey side, but if you want one splurge for Christmas, I'd personally be more than happy to receive a Tom Ford lipstick. Even just the packaging is gorgeous and the shade I chose, Bruised Plum, seems perfectly festive for the season. I think that if you want an expensive lipstick, it's best to go for a bold, dark color to make it just that more special.
Origins Gift Set: I actually sneakily added this to my Sephora basket during the Sephora VIB sale and am eagerly looking forward to opening it up Christmas morning. This past year I've gotten into skincare and most know that Origins is a great brand to try. As the GinZing keeps getting buzzed about in the blogging world, this little kit would be perfect for anyone into makeup and skincare.
Benefit 'Little Love Potions' Gift Set: Similar to the Origins set, this is the perfect little bundle for anyone new to Benefit or makeup altogether. I know that some don't enjoy getting sample sizes, but for anyone who might want one, this Benefit one is absolutely perfect. It practically gives you a full face of makeup and will last for quite a while. Included are most of the brand's well-known products; the perfect sampler.
Sephora Favorites 'For Her' Fragrance Sampler: The last of the sets is this Sephora fragrance one. In it are some of the best-selling perfumes from Sephora in mini sizes, as well as a gift card to allow the receiver to purchase a rollerball size perfume of their choice once they've tested out all the mini perfumes in the kit. I think that the whole idea is brilliant and perfect as buying perfume can be difficult since it's so subjective. This allows you to give more than just a plain gift card and something that's definitely appreciated.
NARS 'Ride Up to the Moon' Palette: A complete sucker for palettes, I fell in love with this gorgeous NARS palette and knew that any of my friends would be more than happy to receive this for Christmas. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with an eyeshadow palette as you can never seem to have enough. And on top of that, this palette holds one of the most gorgeous green colors I've seen, which is perfect for the season to add a pop of color in. Versatile, yet still a nice neutral, this palette can make a great gift.
LUSH Bath Bombs: I couldn't help but include the LUSH bath bombs into this gift guide as I'm pretty sure that anything Lush will be appreciated by almost any girl. Their bath bombs are favorited by so many and if you're more on a budget, tie two of these in a cute bag with some ribbon and I think this would make a great present.
I hope you guys liked this gift guide and it helps you in some way! Also, I'm excited and incredibly scared to say that I've set a goal for myself to blog every other day until Christmas. I've been slacking lately and want to dedicate some more time to my blog as the semester is ending and I have more time on my hands again. Wish me luck and I'll see you in a few days! As a bit of an update on this, after this post I came down with pneumonia and pretty much was in bed sick until Christmas! It wasn't fun but I'm feeling much better now!
